New Shelter Cove location of this restaurant (which already has a few other locations in the area). The ambiance in this location is great, with distant water / sunset views. The food, like the other locations, is not bad but nothing too special either. The overall restaurant is well laid out, with very large booths available, as well as a nice outdoor seating area that is shaded and has a pleasant view of the surrounding area. On this visit, our service was friendly but had several issues (waiter failed to bring one of the drinks until late in the meal, pizza was messed up and had to be redone causing a long wait, and salad orders were mixed up and mis-delivered). However, the waiter was very nice and took a beer off our bill without being asked to compensate. The salads got mixed reviews. Most of us liked the Mediterranean dressing, although it is a little sweet for some, but the salads were overall relatively overdressed and a little soggy. We had two pizzas: the NYCP special and the white pizza with pepperoni added. Both were tasty but nothing extraordinary. Overall, there are probably better pizza options on the island (food wise), but this is a very enjoyable place to have a meal. When you eat here, the surrounding area is also nice to walk around and shop or have dessert (both a nice ice cream shop and frozen yogurt place are a very short walk around the corner).
