Delicious sushi and sashimi. Had the tempura appetizer which had a nice, not too heavy batter. Specialty maki rolls were pretty large. The Big Mac roll was enormous. Didn’t realize it would be fried but it was delicious. Added the cowboy roll and the tuna amazing roll, both were good but would say tuna amazing was better than the cowboy. Deluxe sashimi came out fresh and wowed the couple at the next table. Beautiful presentation and buttery soft fish. Would definitely go back, especially for a special occasion.
Sake was awesome! My boyfriend and I had a good time, but the food wasn’t the best. They started out by serving the yummy sauce as usual, and then the rice. The rice had overcooked egg and they gave it way too early. By the time I received the steak, my rice was mostly gone as I was starving. Also, whatever rice I had left to eat with my steak, it was already cold. The steak was supposed to be filet minogn, but I ate a huge piece of fat, so I’m thinking they served me the regular steak but made me pay for the filet. The waiter was slacking on coming back to check on us. I needed a new drink for 25 minutes when finally the people sitting next to us just shared some of their wine (so the restaurant lost out on money). Then, the same waiter tried charging me $18 for two drinks, double the cost of what I saw on the menu. I brought it to his attention and he changed it, but what if I wouldn’t of noticed? I guess I wasn’t offered enough drinks and was sober enough to notice!!! I would’ve liked this place more if they offered more alcohol and also the steak wasn’t fatty.
