My wife and I were seated for a 7pm reservation on the outside deck. Great view of the bay. We were immediately served water. After 30 minutes of no service we decided to find another place to eat. First time ever to walk out of a restaurant. Politely explained the situation to the manager on the way out. He offered his apologies.
Old Fort Pub is one of the best restaurants on the island. From the absolutely gorgeous setting to the perfect service and the amazing food… You will not be disappointed. This is not the kind of place where the server disappears after the food comes or you sit around waiting for your check. It’s the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant without being overbearing. And the food is just the best. The she-crab soup and the beet salad are incredible and the pecan pie …well. Just get it.
Grab Your Wallet. If you like a nice view and expensive dinners this is the place for you. I found it a little to pretentious for me. Two drinks $25. A few of the tables have a view but a lot have trees in the way. Boathouse or Chart House have better unobstructed views and less expensive. OFP seems to cater to older crowd that dresses up and does not object to high prices. Good if you own the restaurant – Bad if you are the customer.
