Best restaurant experience so far on our 1 week stay. The building is beautiful inside with tons of windows so almost every table has a view. Food was fantastic! Gumbo delish, hush puppies with real butter were warm and crispy outside.

Great food, atmosphere, and service!. Our first time at the Old Oyster Factory, but won’t be our last! The food was excellent, especially the stuffed mushroom caps. We were a party of 10, but the our server , Davion, treated us like a table for two! He was efficient, pleasant and personable. We will be back for the terrific food choices and Davion!
Usually restaurants advertised on back of tourist ‘where to eat’ magazines serve okay food at a slightly high price. We were very surprised by the Old Oyster Factory. The meal was outstanding.From the appetizers to the desserts the meal was prepared perfect, excellent presentation, and was very tasty. Our hats are off to Chef Matt. James was and great attentive server. He was constantly in motion serving his tables but no one felt rushed. He added great service to this outstanding meal
Sat outside on the southeast side. Nice late afternoon view of the lagoon. Had raw oysters – lots of them between two us. Choptanks and Bule Points were both great. Had the grilled seafood medley. Liked everything on the plate, even the fresh veggies. Nice bottle of Beach House SB between us to boot. Our server, Matt, was great. #hiltonhead #oysters #restaurants
Great Food, Service, & Atmosphere!. My family and I went to Old Oyster Factory over the 4th of July holiday. We were seated right at 7:30, which was our reservation time that we placed through Open Table.We had a great view of the water, which was something my Mom loved! The drinks and food were amazing (especially the hush puppies!), but the service we had from Aaron, made our experience at the Old Oyster Factory even better. He was prompt, attentive, and extremely personable! We will definitely be going back to the Old Oyster Factory when we are back in HHI!
