We love it!. We’ve ate at the Quarterdeck 3 times (sitting outside) and never experienced any of the problems listed in some of these other reviews. We had good service, yummy drinks, enjoyed the outside music, tasty food. Everyone at our table was very happy and at every visit it was pleasurable. We’ll definitely go there again – no doubt!
Hmmm — interesting to see the negative comments. Showed up in a group of 10 and were seated quickly. The waitress Beth was very attentive and the food was surprisingly great. We had a large variety of items on the lunch menu. The price is a bit high but very much worth what we got!
Don’t waste your time. The worst food I’ve had on Hilton Head Island. There are so many great restaurants on the island so don’t waste your time eating here. I stayed in Harbor Town in October and we stopped in a light dinner. The crab soup tasted like paste. We were back in December and decided to stop in for a drink. We ordered appetizers at the bar and they were terrible. The pulled pork nachos were cold when we got them. I asked them to please heat them up and when they were returned they were barely lukewarm. Another patron ordered a glass of wine and was told by the bartender to try it because another patron two days earlier had said it had turned. This person agreed that it was bad. Why did they even serve it they knew it was bad. Won’t be back.

Just ate at the Quarterdeck upstairs. Great sunset views, food was terrific…definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice meal with great views of Calibogue Sound!
If you have time to waste…. Then by all means, give the Quarterdeck a try. Our experience was abysmal. We dined on a Friday afternoon on a busy Spring break, but had only a minimal wait for a table on the deck, but no waiting for a table inside. Clearly being busy was not an excuse. After being seated, I asked three different workers for a menu. After a 15 minute wait, I got two from the hostess stand. We had an additional wait of at least 10 minutes before I could get someone to take our drink order and food order. A different server brought our cocktails and a completely different server brought the appetizers we ordered. This server did not notice we had no tableware or napkins. I asked for both and extra plates to share. He never reappeared. Went to the hostess stand to ask for plates and forks, but shouldn’t have bothered. The shrimp cocktail was fishy, there was almost no sauce, and was served with dry, tasteless tortilla chips. Had also ordered a chicken nacho dish, but ended up with shredded pork instead. We cut our losses, paid the bill and left.
