What a TRAIN WRECK! Don’t waster your time! I used to go to the other location…THIS is nothing like it! The staff was RUDE & PRETENTIOUS (even the managers!), not to mention had NO IDEA how to answer questions about the menu. The food was COLD, OVERCOOKED & BLAND. YUCK! The prices are TOO HIGH & I found it to be DIRTY. After having spent the better part of THREE HOURS to get served dinner in the half empty bar/restaurant, we were more than happy to just pay & leave. We still left a tip and did not argue about a duplicate item on our bill (which we did not order). We decided to cut our losses & just go. NEVER AGAIN!
Updated Post: New owners, different from the old Bomboras. Menu change. Chef change. I think they are trying to go more Louisiana cuisine. My wife had red beans and blackened shrimp which was tasty but overpriced by $10 for a simple dish. Stay away from fried fish and chicken strips. My children and I didn’t like either, which were both overpriced. Great people there, Stacey and Michelle, but new owners haven’t picked up on what was so special about the place before they bought it. Kill the $38 dollar per child finger painting and keep the fresh chicken and fish.
Yes. Yes! Yes!! Scratch meatloaf, super fresh fish, creamy mashed potatoes with a classic gravy, original starter salads, and helpfulness working on all cylinders. My sons have allergies, Stacey not only made them off menu meals but they tasted great and she wouldn’t of had our experience any other way. This place is locked in. Additionally, the excellent local crafts was a nice change to other area restaurants. (Beware they are moving locations around the corner by its Greek to me).
Great Food, Great Atmosphere!. Food is delicious. Best chili I have had, different flavor and with a great chipotle sour cream. Great beer selection and atmosphere is very enjoyable. The Kobe sliders and homemad fries are delicious. It is slightly pricey for the sizes but worth the freshness of the food. Service is hit or miss but with the food selection I can handle slightly bad service. Just sit back and enjoy a beer!
We liked what we sampled…. Went on a local food tour and this was one of the stops. We tried sliders, chopped salad, shrimp & grits as well as the mulligatawny stew. Beer menu was great as was all of the food. Several of us plan on returning for lunch tomorrow!!
Bomboras Grille. Wine, entrees, and wait staff were outstanding!
Went there for dinner and the service was lacking despite the indoor seating area being almost empty. The food was great but the server took forever to check on us.
