If you are looking for great Mexican Food on Hilton Head Island, look no further. This was not my first rodeo having Mexican Food. I have experienced Mexican Food all over the United States and down in Mexico. San Miguel’s offers great Mexican Food located in Shelter Cove, Hilton Head Island. As soon as we entered the Cafe we were immediately greeted and seated. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Everyone in my party felt the same way. We all really loved San Miguel’s and certainly will be returning in the near future. Very clean both outside and inside the Cafe. You won’t be disappointed. Thrilled that we visited this awesome cafe late October 2015. Lastly San Miguel’s rates five stars and more.
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Stale chips, greasy chorizo tacos, cabbage in fish tacos had a pungent smell like rotten onions. Tacos were served on a bed of warm lettuce. The retried beans were somehow not good.Margaritas were average, but overpriced.
Great place! Awesome margaritas! Very affordable! Great happy hour! Shelter Cove area is worth the visit! Shannon Tanner entertainment is great! Go there and stop at San Miguel’s!
I live on Hilton head and can assure all there is substantially better Mexican food elsewhere — this place is a tourist oriented place … You will rarely if ever see Hispanic patrons here … Think about it!!
Wonderful!. Salsa was some of the best I’ve had and was served with a big basket of hot, crispy tortilla chips. The Skinny Margarita was great as were the fish tacos. Definitely going back to this place.
