Not the same Stacks i remember from a visit to the Island several years ago. The service was excellent, our food was fast, and our cofee cups were kept full. The food was just average.
Maureen was our server. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she was less than pleasant and even less attentive. My hubby’s breakfast came out missing stuff and it was assumed he wanted grits; he doesn’t like grits. Maureen made it seem a bit off putting to get the potatoes. When we left we saw her chowin’ down on the grits. Won’t be back. Southern Coney is hands down better!!!!!
I like them for breakfast! Good food but not fantastic and that is ok. I really like the Spanish omelet. You may need to wait but it shouldn’t be that bad. I’ve been back several times!
This is a good place for breakfast. I have never had lunch here but I love the blueberry pancakes. Very simple but good food! Also affordable and friendly staff.
Peg. Wait time ok considering they were crowded. Will never return though. Quiche was served barely warm, crust was soggy, unable to eat it. French toast had mouth watering description, yet you couldn’t taste the ingredients. One star at best
After reading the US reviews, my hubby, our 2 sons, and I decided we had to try the crime brle French toast. I am drooling about it as I type this. I wish we lived closer so I could eat here every day. My eldest son decided to try the chicken and waffles, which he liked, but said wasn’t as good as my French toast ;)We will be repeat customers this summer for sure!
Creme Brulee French Toast is heaven on a plate. GREAT food and friendly service. Shrimp and grits are delish!
