I have being to going to Stacks since the early 2000’s. Every time I have visited the Food, Customer Service is outstanding. I love the steak and Eggs. The pancakes are outstanding. Well what are you waiting for. A must visit if you live in the area or visiting Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort and Savannah. I certainly will be returning in the near future. Stacks certainly rates five stars and more.
Nothing extraordinary here at all. While nothing was bad, we have had better versions of everything here elsewhere. Some other reviews make this place out to better a lot better than it actually is. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would be more interested in looking at other options if we find ourselves looking for breakfast in Hilton Head Island again.
Are you a breakfast person? I usually start my mornings with a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice and I dont rate breakfast among my favorite meals of the day. But my mind changes when Im on vacation and a family trip to Hilton Head Island presented many opportunities to dine out for a morning meal. And one of the best places we visited for breakfast was Stacks Pancakes. Stacks Pancakes is best known as a place for breakfast food, as you might have assumed from its name. They actually do serve other foods like burgers, sandwiches, wraps, etc and they have a kids menu of assorted items. But the focus here is on breakfast/brunch and guests will notice an assortment of specialty breakfasts, pancake options, omelets, crepes, and more. They have a breakfast buffet as well- perfect for those times when you either cannot make up your mind or when you want a variety of foods. When I visited here with the family, I went ahead and did the buffet. I didnt want to wait for my food to be prepared. I was too hungry and besides, I wanted variety. I finished off two plates of food and I liked what I tried. With other buffets, the food is often left out too long and starts to go bad, but Stacks Pancakes keeps the buffet replenished with fresh options all day long, making the food better than the buffet foods in other restaurants.If you dont want the buffet, Stacks Pancakes serves some interesting and delicious options like Crme Brulee French Toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and more. The serving sizes are generous, too, so dont be surprised if you end up sharing some of your food with other family members, as there is always a chance you will not be able to finish. They even serve a gluten- free pancake option, which is not something I have seen at very many other restaurants. Stacks Pancakes is a popular place for breakfast, so be prepared for a wait when you visit. We had to wait for a table like everyone else, but we found the wait worth it in the end since every family member liked their food and recommended it to others. As I said, Im not a huge fan of breakfast, but Stacks Pancakes is better than most breakfast eateries and it is a place I would visit again. Delicious, simple food. Great breakfast for a bunch of hungry guys. Quick service & food hit the table fast. We went back twice…was consistently good. Definately would recommend this place.
