Been to Crazy Crab several times. The experience is always consistent with great crab legs and oysters. We usually share a crab boil between my wife and I. If not you could sit a the table forever peeling crab shells.Food is decent and service is always friendly, prices are a bit high though.
The atmosphere was nice but the food was just average maybe even below average. I got the fried platter and nothing tasted fresh, breaking had no flavor, and the portions were small for the price.I would try somewhere else
Bad overall. Bread came out after food.Called ahead and they said there was a 20 min wait – show up 5 min later and it is an hr. Take a look at pics – ordered same thing I got at the other crazy crab – complete 180. So much better at other location. First pic is from harbour town location – 2nd pic from over the bridge. Same dish – two different results.
Had broiled Captain’s Platter. Everything on it was over cooked and dried out. Not good at all for such an expensive meal. Try something else.
Food was just ok! Drinks were fabulous. Our server was great. The wait time for appetizer was way too long and the appetizer was taken off our bill.
So bad! Don’t do it!! The restaurant is dirty, flies all over the place. I got the shrimp and grits, where is the vomit emoji? Husband got the shrimp salad, also gross.
The absolute worst service I have ever received on Hilton Head Island. The shrimp was over cooked and NOT cleaned. The scallops were rubbery and not seasoned. Everything was bland and had no flavor. Our waitress was ditzy and couldn’t be bothered to see if we even needed drink refills. I guess since she knew she was automatically adding 18% gratuity to our check that she wasn’t going to have to work hard for a decent tip. Save your $$ and dine elsewhere. There are many other restaurants on Hilton Head Island that are much better than this will ever be.
