Don’t know what Frotus is talking about. It’s a great little restaurant on the beach. A little on the pricey side for what you get, but part of it is the ambiance. I had fish tacos which are great. They don’t have a fryer so chicken nuggets and fries are not an option for little ones.
Good food, quick service and great location
How are all these restaurants so liked? Many of these places with high ratings serve unedible plates of trash, this one especially. I already have a stomach ache. Literally the worst food I have had in about a year. There is not one person connected with this establishment that had ever cooked something that would any sane person would pay any amount of money to eat. I would pay $20 right now if I could rewind the clock 30 minutes so that I would not have to go through the certain agony of digesting this food that, surpassing all logic, the people around me seem to have no problem with. Never consider eating here, it will ruin your day if you let it.
First time there so a little confused by where to sit and just checking out the scenery. When asked where to sit, waiter told us to see bartender, bartender said see waiter. Other customers came in and sat right down. Must be for locals only?!?!? We left. Very cool looking place- disappointed at service.
Dunes is a great beach event. Coming off the beach after a cycle, try the Pia Colada which is served slushy. The Grill throws out great aromas – blackened burger was a hit – surpassed by the shrimp taco wrap – marinated shrimp with tangy sauce in a light taco. Purrrrfect.
