This was my first visit and I was sadly dissappointed! Donuts were not fresh and cookies seemed overpriced.
Adorable and Delicious!. Besides the beach, weather, shopping, and the relaxing feel of Hilton Head island, having breakfast at the french kiss was one of the best parts of our vacation. The adorable bakery is quaint and has a ton of different treats. The only part I didn’t like was having to pick one thing over another. The food is delicious (particularly the Cinnamon Bread Pudding, Oh my) and the ladies behind the counter are sweet and friendly. If you are planning to stay on Hilton Head, be sure that you pay a visit to this hidden gem.
My mom and I each had a slice of quiche, both equally delicious! They had both hot and iced coffee. The pastries were flaky and tasted very fresh. We liked what had so much, we went back in to get some snacks for the beach! We plan to go there again in our next visit!!
First time going to the french kiss bakery and i absolutly loved it i got the salmon croisant and apple tart and i can honestly said the croisant was delicious. The inside was cute and the service was good. By far my fav bakery on the island!
Terrible! We bought two pieces of quiche that were thrown into a plastic container and them microwaved!!! Really? Microwaving in PLASTIC! I also ordered a bagel sandwich which was also microwaved with plastic wrap on it… We wasted 30 bucks…
The small space was chaotic and the table to sugar and cream your coffee on wasn’t set up with costumers in mind, making for a clumsy experience. The chalkboard menu wasn’t very easy to make sense of quickly (awkward when you have locals behind you who know what they want) and many of the pastries were unlabeled. The muffin and pastry my family had were okay but the quiche was just awful. We had both kinds and none of us could finish ours, most of it was just a terrible unevenly heated soupy mush. The crust was tolerable though. Definitely not worth $4.50 a slice.
