Was never great, now bad. We have been getting take out from Yummy House for many years. It has never been very good, but it was close and quick. But the quality of the take out food has gotten noticeably worse since they added a buffet. It appears they have changed management. The meat is tough and fatty. The flavor bland. In an order of beef and black bean sauce there was so little meat it should have been called peppers and bean sauce. There is less sauce in the dishes so entrees like sesame chicken are a bit dry. The dumplings are as tough as rocks. The portions are smaller too. All of these changes may be to cut costs and improve their profit margin. Also the staff has changed and they are simply a pain to deal with. It is difficult to communicate with them because their English is so poor. The person on the phone taking orders needs to be more proficient in English. Every one of my orders over the last few months has had at least one item wrong or more often, missing. There used to be a great manager there who was so pleasant. He was one of the main reasons we went there, but he is gone. Too bad. The current staff comes across as being very rude, but it may only be a communication issue.

I went to their online website to place a carryout order. I totaled the order so I knew how much I owed but when I picked up the order the price was much higher. The owner who has no concept of taking care of the customer in a win/win fashion just smirked and commented that the online site has not been updated for 5 years and then she pointed to the menu and told me that was the final price. WOW! I was besides myself in anger. I have never seen such poor customer service. And to top it off, the food that evening was absolutely horrible. Never again will I spend one dime at Yummy House.
