A lovely little restaurant tucked into a resort hotel, Cafe Amalfi is an excellent find. We were looking forward to a nice dinner after a day of swimming and beach walking, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly and shown to a lovely table with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The dining room was small and fresh, with an open kitchen lining one wall. We were greeted promptly by our server, Dan, who in all honesty is the reason this review is so high. He did an excellent job taking care of us, and I have never had such attentive and warm service. The food was excellent as well, starting with the warm bread and olive oil for dipping. I had the Catch of the Day (grouper) and he had the Pub Burger. Both were cooked excellently and came in perfect portions. We also ordered a dessert, and were given a taste of another, all wrapped up for us with silverware by Dan. All in all, I cannot recommend this place more: ask for Dan and you will really be in for a treat.

Fabulous. I’m a rather discriminating guest and have several friends who are professional chefs. I’ve eaten dinner at Cafe Amalfi for the past few evenings and must say that the service provided by George is impeccable. The food has been excellent every night. From the fresh bread to the seafood chowder, Caesar salad to each of the varied main courses offered on the regular menu and specials, I have been delighted each evening with the creativity and freshness of each meal. The flavors are complex and well thought out. Martinis were made to my specific request. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. George is exceptional. Highly recommended!!! 5 stars!!

A nice dinner. If you sit in the room with the view of the ocean you’ll enjoy the experience. I didn’t appreciate the fact that you could see the kitchen through an open wall though, it takes away from the ambiance. The food was good, but not spectacular. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable for a hotel of this caliber. There was a restaurant.com coupon available that we used ($50 off) so it took a bit of the bite out of the check. Overall, it was a nice experience. Could you do better? Probably, but I don’t think you’ll feel disappointed with the experience.
Not the best, definitely not the worst. The breakfast buffet is great if you get a discount or get it free, but full price doesn’t justify the cost. The dinner is good, but not worth the cost. If you’re looking for value, go somewhere else. If money’s no object and you are staying in the Hilton, go nuts once or twice.. If you’re considering dining here and you’re not a guest, don’t waste your time or money.
