I agree with the other post… Worst meal of our whole stay. Dry tasteless steak bland shrimp, we had much better at plain buffer places. The entouffe was not great mostly peppers and onions served on a block of bland dry grits. Won’t be back. Huge waste of money
Great meal!. My girlfriend and I visited Chestnut Hill for her birthday while vacationing in Myrtle. I loved that our seats were right next to the huge window overlooking a lake!I went with the Surf/Turf while my date had the king crab legs. Both were fantastic. My only (minor) complaint was that I wish the potato side that we both received was different; it was basically just a boiled potato cut in half and seasoned. The veggies offered were good, and the house dressing was amazing. We also ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and shared the strawberry shortcake for dessert. Both of these items were delicious. Cheese biscuits and strawberry muffins also were on the table, and both of those were great as well…as are waitress informed us, the muffins are rather addicting.One issue (and this is not the restaurant’s fault by any means) was that a group a few tables over from us had brought two young children with them, and they proceeded to rub their faces and hands all over the waterfront window along with being borderline obnoxiously loud.

Service good, nice tables, food sub par, soggy reheated potato, seafood just ok, crabcake not good, definately for tourists. Drinks good.
THANKSGIVING DINNER. We chose to go to a restaurant for Thanksgiving this year. I chose Chestnut Hill because of the ratings. The first thing that caught my attention was the crowded seating: it was difficult to get to our table without feeling like you were going to land in someones lap or stick your behind in their face while getting to your table. I was relived we had a corner table. The water glasses on the table were all very spotty and mine still had a lipstick ring around the top. I took a deep breath and just asked for another glass but when we went up to the buffet you had to pick through the dishes to get a clean plate. This was very disappointing; I had actually thought this was going to be an impressive place to have Thanksgiving dinner. The food was ok nothing special; the desserts were even less impressive also. Very disappointed at the price and what we had we could have gone to K&W Cafeteria and had the same quality of food and seating.
Food was excellent ans service was as well …I believe our server was shana and she was knowledgeable and did great job. We highly recommend it.
Food was so/so. Probably would have been better but our waitress was absolutely piss poor. Actually the worst service we have ever received. We could have went to Burger King for better service. (We noticed it was just our waitress, the others seemed pretty on top of their game) Very dissapointed.
