Fantastic. We are 6 guys from Hoboken NJ who go every march to play golf we have not missed eating at chianti south 2x in a week the food and service are no.1 Arturo is a wine connisseur and frank rocks in the kitchen banna peppers are great try this place you will not be disappointed.
Not impressed….. I ate there last week and ordered Veal Parmesean….I COUNLD NOT put a knife through it. Finally tore a piece off, and guess what……Totally freezer burned !!Years ago, it was really good, but that will be my last time there.
We were told by friends of ours that Chianti was a great place to have dinner.Myself being of Italian desent and growing up in Brooklyn ny with a mom who could cook every Italian dish to perfection was a bit skepticial.My wife an I ordered clams casino and fried calamari for starters and they were excellent.Our house salads were great also.My wife ordered linguine and clams and when the plate came to the table it looked unbeliveable .there we’re probably about 20 whole clams she said it was the best dish of linguine claim she ever had in my life .I have not had veal parmesan and very long time so that is what I ordered.I have not had a good dish of veal parm since my mom passed. This was quite possibly the best I ever had in my life .needless to say there was no room for dessert .I was later informed that the chef and owner who is one and the same is originally from New Jersey which probably explains his unsurpassed expertise in the kitchen.needless to say this will now become a mainstay iwhen we dinei out.
Love rhis restaurant. Whenever I am in the area I dine here. Manager is so nice and knows his wines.

Great pasta and food!! Who cares what the inside looks like as long as the food tastes good! And the canoli rocks!
Crowded and Hot. Menu was okay, although I have had better. Decor was quite dated and very plain which provided an ambiance that was a little lacking. Also, it seemed like their air conditioning was not working very well. The temperature was a little warm and it was difficult to get comfortable.
