Have been once and it was very good. Very pricey, but very good. Had the Fisherman’s Platter I think it was called with several different kinds of fried fish and Seafood. All good, really good coleslaw and the wedge salad was out of this world. Very nice atmosphere and first-class service.
Our family of six adults took the short drive from Myrtle Beach over to Little River, SC to eat at Clarks Seafood & Chop House. Three of us had Clarks House Salad (Iceberg & Romaine, chopped eggs, diced tomatoes, sugar pecans & topped with warm bacon & ham) with the House Dressing (Honey Mustard & Hot Bacon) unbelievable flavor! We all loved the Coquina Crab Dip (Lump Crab, Artichoke Hearts, and roasted garlic sauted in a rich Chablis cream sauce & served with toasted pita chips) the portion was so generous, we asked for more chips to finish it off. My husband had the Filet with the Carolina Crab Cakes as an add-on. He said the Filet was a little above average, but we both thought the crab cakes were really good. The Creamed Spinach as a side was also good. I had the Scallops Risotto grilled (served over Risotto, garnished with Tasso ham, Heirloom Tomatoes and fresh Basil). The risotto, tomatoes and basil were more impressive than the scallops. There was some confusion with the ordering, and all of the food didnt make it to the table right away. The restaurant is located in Coquina Harbor with a nice view of a marina, and there is a high-end boutique next door for souvenir shopping. We all agreed we want to go back next year!
They have dropped a lot of items from menu but it is very limited hope they can weather the storm with all these items gone.
Not the same food!!!. Loved this restaurant….well use to! What has happen to their food. Have not been there for 3 months went last week and one of my favorite dishes Fried Green Tomatoes…..horrible…..like where was the tomatoe all breading way to much breading…..so disappointed! Stuffed long hots these looked liked regular green peppers. Drinks are way to expensive especially with the taxes you pay at the end of the night!!!!! Well whatever the case hope they ship up before they ship out like so many other SC restaurants…
Not focused on customer service and very expensive for lunch. Went to lunch there with 6 other ladies and we were given the lunch menu which had prices of about $10 per lunch. The waiter then verbally listed the lunch specials, beef quesadilla for $8.99, pot roast $10.99 and grouper and the waiter did not mention the price nor did we ask. Five of the seven of us ordered the grouper. The food was good, however when the check came we were each charged $34.95 for the grouper! We verified with the waiter that the price was correct and he did not seem to care that he had not told us nor that at that price it did not qualify as any kind of special. I have since sent Clark’s two emails on their website explaining the situation and expected at least an apology via email or a phone call, but they never even bothered to call. I will not go there again, as they obviously don’t care about customer perception or return business
The prices reflected on here are incorrect. I go to Clark’s once a month with a group of friends and we order off the lunch menu which is under $10 a person. The same people who own this restaurant own the Boundary House in Calabash, North Carolina and the menu is very similar. The food is excellent and the service is phenomenal. We always go there with a large party and we’ve never had a problem.
Locals Favorite. We enjoy Clark’s many time a year ans have never been disappointed. Awesome dinner or lunch. Great outdoor dining at the marina.10 Nov, 2014Wedge Salad. The most awesome balsamic vinaigrette dressing!
