Mrs. Barbara Stephenson. I love the Conch Shell. My husband and I go there several times each summer she we are at the beach. The food is delicious and the staff is very courteous and helpful.
Mediocre at best. Service was great and so was the view but the food was not much to get excited about. Conch fritter had next to no conch in it so they were basically like $9 hush puppies. She crab soup was meh and the tuna sandwich was dry and bland. Fish tacos were just grilled fish and pico on a tortilla again not much flavor. Won’t be going back a second time 🙁
Don’t order mixed drinks here. The banana colada tasted good but could not have contained ANY rum. Maybe a drop or two at best. Otherwise you will be paying nearly $7.00 for a slushy!
Cute place on the beach! But…I paid 25$ for a dry and tasteless piece of grouper!! Awful!!! Not even sure it was really grouper! Kids meals were ok. My husband had the fish tacos…boring!!! Will never be back!!!!!! ( I’ve never written or felt the need to write a review before now!!)
I’m a local who has a hard time finding good food around town but found Conch Cafe when driving through Garden City (not murrells inlet), I got the small seafood plate and it was great! I had fried shrimp and oysters and fries and it was just enough food for me! I recommend it!
Typical Seafood Along the Beach. Crowded. Had to wait but not to long. Due to location and so few restaurants in the vicinity, this place gets busy. The Conch fritters are a seafood hush puppy served with cocktail sauce on the side; interesting but not something I would order again. Most of the seafood is fried and OK, nothing special. The crab cake was OK. Someone in our group ordered the larger seafood platter and could not finish; lots to eat.
Nice place on water front. Had a salmon BLT sandwich that was outstanding. Not on menu but they made it up for me.
