Way overpriced for what you get. 3 of use ordered shrimp and sodas and the bill came to $95. The food was tasty but barely warm. We ended up racing through our meal because a nearby couple was getting drunker by the minute. The were loud, smoking and obnoxious. The waitstaff continued to serve them. We had been warned prior to going there that drunks were commonplace there. We won’t be going back.
Party of 12 at 5:00. We had a large party and the service was pretty good. I had a fish sandwich and it was Great! The fried corn was pretty good as well. My favorite thing was the shrimp that I ate off of my son’s plate. They were Great! I hope to go back soon.
Good food but skimpy portions for $. The food was fresh and very good. We really expected we would receive a larger portion for the price. 1 1/2 pieces of flounder, 2 hushpuppies, handful of fries and small cup of slaw for $20. Needless to say, we all cleaned our baskets.
Fantastic seafood! Very fresh! Informal and fun atmosphere. This is not a place to eat healthy though, this is a place for great fried food and delicious pie.
Nice locAtion located on canal. Rustic decor with patio seating. Very informal dining but very good food and attentive service. Boats and pelicans float bye. A few all u can eat specials. Good seafood ranging from 15 to 23Would go again
Eh…. I saw alot of good reviews on this place, so decided to check it out. EVERYTHING on the menu was fried. and everything we ordered that was fried, tasted the same. my crab cake tasted exactly like the hush puppies. the service was terrible. our server was completely oblivious to anything on the menu. i requested to have my crab cake broiled instead of fried, and it came out fried anyways. the atmosphere was great, being out on the water and seeing the casino boats. but, that was unfortunately the most enjoyable part of my evening at Crab Catchers.
Best seafood I’ve ever had! Love the scallops and buffalo shrimp! And the homemade pie is to die for. I eat here every time my family and I visit the Myrtle Beach area.
