As others have said, this is hibachi style food at restaurant style quality, for a fast food price. I wouldn’t go here for sushi but the hibachi is well worth the visit if you want to have a night in and are visiting the surfside area.
Take out dinner, Surfside, SC location. Ordered Teriyaki chicken and steak dinners, take out. Their mustard sauce and shrimp sauce very different than other places we’ve eaten. The sauteed veggies of carrots, onion and zuccini consisted mostly of onions. The Teriyaki Steak dinner sauce was totally different than the Teriyaki chicken meal. It was good but we might look elsewhere next time.
Same taste and quality as the food in a large hibachi house but at a quarter of the price. If you love hibachi but don’t want to pay $20 for a meal then this place is for you. The atmosphere isn’t great but they make up for that with the quality of the food. If you lime hibachi then you any go wrong.
The school that loves Kobe. Me and my best friend have this thing….. we have to eat there everyday we come home from school, we are hooked. The people who work there are very nice and treat you like family. They know what we get by heart. either 2 orders of fried rice and two drinks or 2 chicken bowls and two drinks. But there are always a ton of furtune cookies we get that they dont mind. maybe we get special for going every single day. well what ever it is Kobe ( as the whole school calls it, if you dont know Kobe then you are shuned) is the best place to go.
Best tasting chicken bowl. Love eating Japanese for lunch. This place has the best chicken bowl around. I eat here every chance I get.
