Come in hungry, leave FULL!. This classy, yet homey feel of a restaurant introduces you to a fine southern breakfast!! The stuffed French toast with cinnamon cream cheese stuffing and peach/triple berry topping is the BOMB DIGGITY! The service was splendid and very welcoming! The biscuits and gravy were mouth watering and to die for! Big portions of food for a small amount of money! Anyone traveling on 17 south, do yourself a favor and stop for some good eats!
Relay dinner for survivors. Matthews sponsored our Loris/Green Sea survivor dinner last week. The food was delicious and the waitresses came and helped also for this wonderful cause. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and will be going to eat with you soon. Thank you again! The Relay For Life Committee
Equesite eatery. hands down. Menu& food. Are by far the best 10 stars!!!!Absolutely, , cleanest restaurant in south . Carolina to allmyfriends.. !! Try it…you’ll, if you don’t I will double your moneyback!!!
Filled me up. The food was good but I guess I expected to much when the previous day I had eaten breakfast at a buffet. The eggs were good and so was the toast. My wife got the blue berry pancakes she finished them and that does not happen very often.
Love it. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. I volunteer at a nearby church, and love to stop in for lunch. I’ve eaten in, and taken out. I just wish they were open later for dinner so that my daughter could eat there more often.
Just had a GREAT breakfast with super service. Highly recommended.
Great breakfast !!. Whenever we start out on a long trip I like to stop for a good breakfast. It just seems to set the mood for a nice day on the road. Having left from MB on the way to CT we passed many of the old standbys: Mickey D’s, Pancake House, IHOP, Cracker Barrell, etc As we neared the NC border I passed a rather non descript looking place called Matthews. Knowing there weren’t many choices ahead for a while I pulled a uey and gave Matthews a try. Glad I did! Great service and very friendly staff. Almost too many choices on the breakfast menu. Well worth a try!!
