The food is always good. John and Rosie run the hideaway spot. It overlooks a well appointed marina. There is a $35.00 annual membership but the first time there you don’t need one to see how you do like it. Prices are moderate and there is a full bar.
We keep our boat at the marina, so often sometime Wednesday through Sunday when they’re open …..we grab a meal here. Friday night they have a fish fry which is actually quite good for the money. $8.95 for a nice piece of flounder, very good french fries and pretty decent coleslaw. The service is always good and friendly. My husband has had the burger and said it was about a 3.5. Not fantastic but pretty good, better than average. So far all I’ve had are the fried shrimp and Flounder. The shrimp are nice size, cooked well with a light coating. Not greasy and actually tasted fresh/local but I’m not sure if they are. There is a nice inviting bar, and also seating on a covered and enclosed porch with a view of the marina and lighthouse.
