We love Sams! The people are always nice and the food is good. Maybe a bit overpriced for a greasy spoon but I like it. Those who give negative reviews probably have much higher expectations than a place like this would warrant. It’s a dive, but a great dive! Get over yourself and enjoy the food!

I understand that breakfast might not be their thing but I ordered steak and eggs I watched the cook open up a frozen steak and put eggs on the grill there was zero seasoning on either not even SALT/PEPPER not only that no one even asked me if everything was ok I’m a local and i will NEVER eat here again

Terrible customer service. I haven’t had the food yet…but they kicked my friends and I out for going to the bathroom together. I had heard good things about this place and was severely disappointed.

Awful customer service. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant.

My wife and I love hotdogs and we even like them for breakfast. We got three Chili Dogs and one with Mustard Relish and Onions. Excellent prices and great service. The dogs were amazing!

Not bad for what it is.. Hey, I liked the place. I’d been seeing it for years and never had a chance to go, so I decided to this past weekend. It’s not great, but for what it is, it’s a nice little spot. The service was adequate and the prices aren’t as awful as some like to whine about ($5.25 for a crabcake sandwich isn’t bad, neither is $5 for a large White Russian). Sure, it’s a little overpriced and I could see things getting hectic in there on a busier day, but it’s a cool place for a quick, filling lunch and a few cold beers that isn’t going to set you back like some places on the Strand will.

    A long standing beach tradition.
