Waitress?. I am a regular at the Sun Up and I can tell you now, you don’t know what you’re talking about. They don’t have waitstaff. Maybe if you were there more than once you’d know this. But I guess not. If you’re going to write a review, at least know what you’re talking about.
Very unsatisfactory service. The bartender and wait staff were extremely rude. I have never been spoken to the way the waitress talked to me in a place of business. I would stay as far away from that pathetic hole in the ground as possible.
So call bartender jojo (joann) horrible horrible horrible everything!!!. The so called bartender made the worse cocktails i have ever tasted! she was very unpleasent, moody & short spoken. she told me her name was jojo short for joann and that she hated this dump and wished she could just go home! dump? she called her place of employment a dump right in front of paying customers! that will definitly bring back paying customers! i have been to alot of taverns and when i visit myrtle beach, the sun up is our place, however, i will never go in there when jojo is behind the bar. horrible service, horrible cocktails, horrible attitude, just a horrible person, period!!! davey, man, please, we are all beggin you, find a new bartender, please!! also, i am amazed you let her work at the sun down, i guess if she is workin on football days & nites, we are all goin to find a new place to watch the game!
It’s an all night joint… Come in mind your business, tip the bartender, enjoy the beverage you can’t get anywhere else.
Horrible! Rude!!!! Just because I was not a regular I was treated badly and ignored. Segregation was outlawed over 50 years ago but this place did not get the memo. My husband was ignored because he is originally from up north ( even though he has been here 8 years) and two Hispanics were refused service even though they had ID. Stay away!!!!!!
I went to the Sun Up while on vacation and was so disappointed…….You only find pigs and hogs in there and the food was not great…
