Absolutely terrible. Food & service was awful…. Way overpriced & nothing special. One person in our party knew the owner so didn’t want to say how bad it was. I will never go there again…it was insulting
But restaurant in the grand strand! The old house sets a perfect setting for a amazing meal. From the staff to the food, take this restaurant over the top! The she crab soup and crab cakes takes me back to my home town of Maryland! This is a much try! The grouper was so fresh and the wine suggestion was paired perfect! This was a great date night restaurant! We will be back time and time again! Our server Karla even game up a tour and a history lesson of the house!15 Jan, 2013I have dined at the Brentwood several times, and every time the meals have been amazing! The service is wonderful. They really work hard at making your meal special. The weekly specials are fresh and creative. I have to say this is a great place to bring your family for a special occasion. .
Wonderful experience. Any fine dining resaurant that pleases three teenagers and a five year old should recieve the highest of accolades. Our server, Mike made our night so fun, interesting, and special. My 14 year old is a very picky eater and I was afraid she would not eat. Not only did she finish her dinner, she tried to eat mine too. The food, the atmosphere, the history, and the excellent service made for a wonderful experience for all of us and we definately intend to return.
Dinner at The Brentwood. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and have found the service to be somewhat deliberate but the food good. Unfortunately, on a recent visit, the quality of the service ruined the entire dinner for us. Our waiter was very intent on providing the best possible service to another table in the room to the extent of almost ignoring our table, and that naturally affected our appreciation of the meal. The food was prepared well, as it has been before, but perhaps not quite as well as we had recalled. I suspect we will not return there. It is not pleasant having a dining experience ruined by incompetent service.
Terrific food everytime. I’ve been to The Brentwood twice and throughly enjoyed it both times. I took my mother for her birthday and we had the 4 course Prix Fixe with a Bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio to go with it. This was her first time at a French restaurant and she ate everything off the plate. I cannot wait to go back! You will not be disappointed here at The Brentwood.
It was just okay.
Love this place!!!. What a great dinner we had at The Brentwood for our anniversary. I had called in advance and requested the Seven course Chef’s Tasting Menu advertised on their web site. The dinner was just perfect. Each course was paired with a glass of wine and I felt in heaven. The sweetbreads were specially divine, I had never tried it before but what a catch! I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves good food.
