Here to satisfy!. There has been a rumor passed around Lexington and neighboring counties that we have closed or gone under new ownership. Still the originals owners, we have been here for 16 years and still counting. Just wanted to pass the word along that we are happy to fill your bellies and satisfy your taste buds!
The best soup and sandwiches in town. As a small business owner, I love giving joe Cribbs my money. He has true passion for his business . His dedication and work ethic is something you don’t see often. Go see him. Did I mention the caramel cake or chicken dumplings. You better run. It goes fast.
Glad they are not child friendly. Came in the other day and had a bowl of Chili, not so good, way too many beans, it was more like a bowl of beans. Had to fish for the meat. Anyway, not so great. I’m so glad they are not child friendly, more places SHOULD ask folks to leave when their kids get loud. If you can’t control your children and they disturb other customers, stay home! So on the upside, nice to eat without a little crumbsnatcher screaming his head off, downside, Chili was too beanie. I’d go back.
Decent food, expensive prices, NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!!! We were asked to leave because of our toddlers.
Delicious food, live their chicken salad on croissant and turkey on wheat. Pasta salad is yummy, too and their service is always spectacular. Just wish they were open for supper! 🙂
Mr. Sugar of Lex.. I got the privilege of being taken to the best place in the world to get cookies after burning my 100 + batch. I can do savory, just eat sweet -they have spoons and cups numbers Ouch My head – So a friend took me to cribs sweet shop to show me what real sweets are because I guess the local mega mart is not good enough. Err she is So right we just do not tell her that, mmm Lemon bars from a tree but with a little powder sugar, and 3×3 in huge cookies [ Docs going to Kill me ], Brownies so much better than my Nana’s. Peanut butter cookies with peanuts, chocolate chips cookies with Real chocolate, sugar cookies with color’s and taste’s, I didn’t know sugar cookies Had taste. We even got a taste the carrot cake it had carets in it Amazing he dose them to order, I didn’t know anyone did that any more. We even tried the sandwiches for some reason I was told I couldn’t eat jut sweets all day by my lady friend, good call. First rate roast beef, she had a turkey both with Amazing bread. We got to talking to the owner, he said he is called Mr. Sugar and has only been there 19 years and from the taste of things he will be there 25 more right behind Lexington Main Street.
