Superb. There could not have been anything better on my visit to FATZ. The calabash chicken was very good and the fries were seasoned to perfection. The customer service was top notch.
Ups and downs. We’ve always liked Fatz until a year or so ago. They had the best steak sandwich and cole slaw around. They took the steak sandwhich off te menu and added onion (????) to the cole slaw. They tell me that you can ask for the steak sandwhich and, they can make it but, on numerous occasions, the wait staff didn’t know what I was talking about. We go there once in a while but not as often as we did.
2 Strikes… Not going back for a third. I had eaten at this Fatz a while back and I didn’t find the food to be all that good. It was rather bland. This past Saturday we tried to go for lunch. I feel bad for the server because I think she was trying her best, but unfortunately well over 30+ minutes later we were no closer to getting our food than we were when we first ordered and the manager was no where to be found. We tipped our server because she appeared to be trying to make everyone happy, but we left. I doubt I’ll be going back for a future attempt.
For what It is, it isn’t bad. If eatting here expect the same commercialized food and blander tastes much like an Applebees. Of course the price is on par for the experience.
