BAD… really BAD. We had luch today at the Lexington Mellow Mushroom today (we have eaten at many of the other locations and it has been good. We had lunch at Blowing Rock Mellow Mushroom last week and enjoyed it). We got the lunch combo today and it was not just bad it was AWFUL !! I had what they called pizza which was a cold slice of crust with something red painted on it. They added a tablespoon of squeeze cheese (or something white)… it honestly the cheese did not cover 10% of te slice. It was really a poor excuse for pizza. My wife had a BLT… you know the one with raw, yes RAW bacon. It was not cold or limp, it was NASTY RAW BACON.We will never go back !!Oh, and the service was not any better than the food
Never again. My husband and I have been there twice and twice it sucked so bad!! It’s expensive, food is not flavorful and the service is a joke. There was maybe four other tables in the restaurant and it took us an hour to get two sandwiches. I would never recommend this place and will never eat there again. And after an hour of waiting our total was almost 40$ and we got no kind of discount or apology for the extended stay 🙂

It was ok but not worth what we paid. The waiter did not know the menu. She kept saying they had just hired her back every time we asked a question. I would not pay $25 dollars for this pizza again! Enjoy!
Better than downtown. We have been going to the Gervais Street MM for several years. Anyone who dines there knows that the food is always good but the service can be painfully slow. We decided to give the Lexington location a try this past Christmas eve. Wow, what a difference! Great staff, fast service and great food served piping hot! So impressive that we’ve been there three times since then. I’m not completely writing off the downtown MM but Lexington will now be our first choice when we need a Mellow Mushroom fix. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the only downside would be the parking. There’s not a lot of it.
Ordered house special pizza. Very good with all fresh ingredients and excellent crust. Giant beer and drink selections. Numerous Happy Hour and lunch specials. Parking can be a problem during rush and Dominoes next door tows intruders
Pie me. Lexington finally grew up and got another great place to eat great pizza, tell some one their having pesto on pizza they flip, then they love it after the first bite and go back for more, add that they make red souse homemade ma mia.. pizza have 10 – 15 topping , can you say bbq chicken porbella mushrooms, OMG so much more what else is theirs to love, Ohh a beer club and Glutton free with a fun at atmosphere and great staff, while it been open 4 weeks we have been 4 times. and wil be many more
