  This place has a fun atmosphere and the food is pretty good. The staff can be pleasant on some visits but I’ve had other visits where they were extremely rude. My last visit was awhile ago because of this. I’m a generally laid back person and it takes a lot to upset me but they still managed to be rude enough that I decided to avoid going back.

  Great to have options!. Mellow mushroom is a great place to go If you are use to living someplace that offers options for a vegetarian or gluten free life. Pizza is good, sure it’s a little pricey but so many choices! if your a foodie like me you will not mind. Only had one of the salads and it was fine, I like my salad to excite me! Go for the pizza, oh and the atmosphere is hip and trendy if you like that sort of thing. All in all I will go back, absolutely!

  The best pizza crust and a fun place lively place.. Pros: lots of tables, all booths can seat at least 6 people and the bar area is very large. There is a lot of outdoor seating and the quirkily offbeat dcor and full view of the pizza dough being tossed makes it fun. If you are vegan, vegetarian, or need gluten free you will have lots of choices as they offer tempeh, tofu, Daiya cheese and not just for pizzas, for everything and they have several salads to chose from. Thursday night is Trivia night. Lots of drink specials and the servers are all nice. Lots of TVs at the bar for sports. Huge menu choice and good music however they need to turn the volume down a notch or two. Cons: parking lot is small and maneuvering anything larger than a smart car is a problem made worse by a stupid drive thru pick up window in the same space as the only exit out of the parking lot; more than two cars in the drive thru and it is like the Hotel California, you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave. Once inside, Im not sure why the music has to be so dang loud but be prepared to shout your conversations. The service is so-so here at this location, the one in downtown Columbia is much better. It will be the most expensive pizza you will eat but if you are going with young kids or teens or just want the novelty of it, give a whirl. For us, if we were not vegetarians and our friends were not vegan, we would probably never go there. If you are at the age where service and atmosphere are important to you, than skip it. If you just want to get with a crowd and have a pizza and beer and not worry about how you are dressed or how you sound or how much time you have, than go for it.
