Good Food/Price/Service. I have ordered take out a few time from New China. The food is always good and for what price we pay, we get a ton of food. Sometimes the delivery is fast, sometimes it takes a while. When it will take a bit, they always let me know (and not in a rude way) in advance. Even when it takes a while, our food is always still hot. I have recommended this place to some friends.
Best Chinese in SC. I am from New York, and have been looking for good Chinese food. Going to New China has been the best. Everything is cooked to order. Eat in, take out and delivery has been a good experience.
Pretty good, fast call-in, slow delivery. This place has good food and is fast if you call in or eat in. The lady behind the counter is fast, but not pushy. It’s more of a cultural thing than rudeness. Know what you want when you start to order and you’re good to go. If you’re not sure, grab a menu and wait until you are. Reasonably priced, cheaper than some, tastes great.The review about them not using their cash register is correct, but they give out receipts now and I’ve never been overcharged. However, they are SLOW on deliveries! I’ve had them deliver twice and each time it’s taken about an hour. Don’t deliver, drive over.
The worse customer service. I came into the restaurant to order chicken wings because I was told they were good. Upon entering I was not greeted, when I was finally approached to give my order the woman was very short and rude with me. After placing my order I needed to add to my order and again the woman was very short and rude with me. When I asked her a question about my order she began yelling clearly annoyed she explains its very busy and she didn’t have time to go over my order and I need to be ready. When i received my food the rice was hard the chicken was soggy and I requested my chicken wings to be fried crispy, my French fries were saturated with grease. I’m sorry I paid for my food because I would have left without getting anything. After reviewing other reviews I will never go back. Customer service is everything I’d rather drive 20min then to spend money on bad food and poor customer service.

Poor management, lousy attitude!. We ordered take-out service from New China. After getting home, we realized that they didn’t get our order correct. We called them to let them know and after trying to speak to the owner, she hung up on us. She didn’t even take responsibility for not getting our order correct. She didn’t even care. They also over charged us for the second time in 2 months. They never ring up orders using their cash register. They use a desk calculator and they don’t give you a receipt. I would check your order very carefully if you decide to order from this place.As a restaurant owner in Lexington, I would never treat my customers like this!! We try to support local restaurants in Lexington, and have been treated poorly by the people at New China for the last time. How can they treat people like this?
They deliver decent Chinese food, fast and cheap.
