Quiet dinner with my #imarriedtheunicorn wife…..Great food! We had Crostini Caprese, and the Italian Trio… The house salad dressing is tres’ Yum! And Jules says the Italian Margarita on the Martini menu is the diggitty!!! And our server Michael was courteous, professional and attentive…
Needs to get service staff to stop chatting with each other & serve food.. We went Saturday, just after 715. The hostess was very helpful & friendly. However it took 23 minutes to get a single glass of wine. I understand the kitchen was busy, but my waiter told me the bartender was slow… except my husband saw the glass sitting on the bar & our waiter talking to another waiter, so he asked the hostess to get it… The food was good, if a bit salty (Saltimbocca & Chicken Piccata( please rinse the capers)), the calamari was very good. I asked if I could have just either balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar on the side for my salad ..was told no. Would I go again… yes, I know Saturdays are nuts, especially for a new restaurant.
Finally! Lexington has needed a place like this for a long time. The food is fresh and tasty! I had two slices of pizza, yes you can order slices! Wifey had a panini, and the girls had the chicken parm. All was great. My mini me had the meatball sub. It was fantastic. The pizza was very good. Very reasonable pricing as well. Great neighborhood family Italian place. Makes me miss home!
