Went off the beaten track to use a Groupon. Probably will not be back. First, we are used to being greeted and shown a table. It is seat yourself, which we finally figured out, after standing awkwardly at the door for a minute, being ignored. Once we sat down, the waitress greeted us and was friendly and good. the wings were excellent although they are very limited on the variety of sauce offered. The atmosphere is very divey and noisy and kids were running all over the place. Room of pool tables open to the dining area. I don’t mind dives, but this one went over the line a bit.

Don’t Waste Your Money. Wings N Ale of Lexington is nothing more than a seedy sports bar. Do not waste your money eating there. The food is mediocre at best and the service is terrible. And they also give you a hard time if you are trying to use a restaurant.com gift certificate, which is very shady and just a very poor way to do business.
HORRIBLE!. My husband and I were looking for good wings on game day and had never tried Wings and Ale. When we called they told us first thing it would be at least an hour before we could pick up our to go order, almost trying to get us not to order. However, we were wiling to wait hoping the wings would be worth it. I went to get the wings right at 1:45 pm, which is the time they told us. Walked right in, since there was NO ONE there except at the bar, yet it still took an hour to cook our order?? Got home and opened the box to COLD, OVERCOOKED wings. We ordered 20 wings with terriyaki and hot sauce, the hot sauce was not even spicy and the terriyaki sauce was non existent! They were also very cold like they had been done for over 30 minutes, which if that was the case then why didn’t they call us to let us know. They had our phone number from when we called to order. We will never go back here or recommend to any of our friends. Our neighbors ordered Buffalo Wild Wings the same day, we went over to taste theirs and it was 100% better!!!

Wings & Ale. Best wings I have ever eaten. Place is much more kid friendly since smoking ban and during earlier hours. Management goes out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.
