Bionicos, Green Burrito and more. Because of the high rating we decided to try Taqueria Jalisco. We are glad we did. I had a Steak Green Burrito. It covered the plate and had steak and spinach in a green tortillas and sprinkled with Mexican cheese. It was delicious. My husband had the Quesadilla. He really like it. Then we ordered Bionicos. We found heaven. I have been looking up recipes since we got home. Fresh fruits with a cream sauce sprinkled with granola. It was for two. I could have it for breakfast or lunch by itself. We will return. I want to try their Flan and have more Bionico!
Warmed Over Fajitas UGH. I am certain our fajitas were reheated from lunch in a microwave. I had eaten perhaps five chips with salsa (more like taco sauce – no texture) when the fajitas came out. There was no sizzle although the food was warm. Vegetables were mushy, beef and chicken dry, and shrimp rubbery. They had stirred in some of the thin salsa to make it look fresh, but no one could grill fajitas in a couple of minutes. Not impressed.

This restaurant is disgusting. Do not eat here. Their margaritas look like something out of a nuclear plant and taste like a snow cone. Hardly any tequila is used which probably accounts for the 2.50 price. I asked for a patron margarita on the rocks and to go light on the mix. If our waiter could speak english, I probably would have gotten what I ordered but alas, I received a nuclear green sugar infused concoction. I had the number 1 and the tortillas they used were stale and hard. The only positive thing I can say for this place is that their chips are ok.
Lunch. As a foodie my expectations were high. A lovely mexican girl in my office recomemded it. I asked the waiter for recomendations. He suggested the Eggs with pork. Nasty. I cook alot of pork product. It is usually good one day, two day then gets that old and leftover taste. Well thats what you heve here. Old food. The Salsa was tasetless. I ordered a side Polblamo pepper with cheese. Where was the cheese? I like to order this for the reason how hard it is to make at home. I feel that they do have something I might like but I ordered poorley. Ahhh Back to the Sushi place accross the street.
Pretty Good Mexican for the area. If I am in the area this is where to get good quality Mexican, unless I want to drive to El Pablano in Chapin (which is the best of any). The fajitas were very good, cooked really well. My margarita was a little ice chunky, but pretty good. The beef tongue taco I had to try for the first time was exactly what they say. It seemed like a steamed tongue sliced in chips with no seasoning beside the onions and cilantro…and it was very bland and awkward tasting. I will most likely be back to try some of the other menu items though, everything we saw looked good!
Best Mexican food in Columbia!!. I love the food at this restaurant, the taste is amazing, it is very authentic and the prices are reasonable. The ceviches, carne asada, fajitas and quesadilla california are my favorites.. but OMG..everything is sooo tasty!!!!!! Best mexican food in Columbia!!!!
