Outstanding. I have eaten at Thailand restaurant for years. Unfortunately for the gentleman who was served broth and 3 mushrooms, so is everyone as an appetizer (even if you order soup), and it’s delicious. He should have stuck around for his actual food. There is no mint in the curry, it is basil, and while the curry is thin, it is meant to be that way (unlike an Indian curry). This is the most authentic and certainly the best Thai food that I’ve had. The service is outstanding.
Great Food, Great Service. The food here was absolutely great. I was looking for a good Thai place after a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad (and incidentally, typical) experience at Mai Thai. Finding Thailand Restaurant was an unexpected windfall. The service was quick and friendly, and the decor is gorgeous and authentic feeling. I ordered the small portion of the Yellow Curry and it was delicious. The sauce was thin, but it was very flavorful, which made it ideal for soaking into the mountain of white rice I was given. The lady even gave me an extra helping of white rice when she boxed up my leftovers without my asking for it. And I did have leftovers enough for a quick lunch with enough rice. Trust me, pay attention to the ratings here; the two bad reviews posted are NOT the typical experience.
I always liked their noodles. The lady that runs the place gives excellent service. The soup that the other fellow mentioned comes before everything they serve, the way they bring the thin miso broth at a Japanese restaurant for example so if he wanted a hearty soup maybe check the menu. I don’t know because I always get stir fry. I did get green curry there once a couple years ago and it was not very good though. Regardless I will still eat there at lunch a couple times a month as I like the little place.
Just awful. I was in the mood for soup. I wanted lots of vegis and meat. I was served a broth with 3 mushrooms floating on it. I sent it back and the owner became very rude. Did not waste my time arguing with her. Walked out the door and said I would never return. Terrible ambience, terrible service and terrible food
Not my Thai. We love Thai, especially the curries. We ordered the Panang and Green curries… hate to say it, but one of the worst I’ve ever had… the sauce was WAY too thin… the rice and veggies didn’t have the opportunity to absorb the flavors of the curry… TOO MUCH MINT – ultimately what ruined the dish… the service was excellent, but unfortunately I will not return.
