If visiting Charleston I advise that you skipping this place. This 1960 dated pub is by far the nastiest. If you like freezer burnt food or smelly tasteless chicken with them this is the place for you. Not to mention the bug problem.
Folks, this place is struggling in the kitchen. I’m really sorry to have to write this. The place was not busy when we ate here on a Saturday evening at 8. Still the wait time for our fish tacos and a sandwich were incredibly long. The onion rings were very greasy and limp, with no batter. The taco was just OK. Ate here because of a groupon. Waitstaff was friendly and apologetic, but hey, the food was just ok, so on the whole, they really need to rethink things. I’m sure it’s more for beer drinkers, so they have that going for them.
