Not one clean table to sit at. The food was not good. The bagels are stale and apparently the owner won’t invest in a toaster that works. They have very little choices after 8:00 am and the coffee tastes like a warm cup of tabacco spit.
Awful service. I’ve been going to Charleston bagel Company for about four years now. Their bagels were always pretty good, for Charleston anyway. But since they’ve changed ownership they’ve been just awful; Service terrible, food terrible. My daughter-in-law had a craving for a parfait however their parfaits are premade so the granola gets all mushy. So she asked for a parfait to be made and they rudely refused. The bagel I received didn’t even have enough cream cheese to cover the entire bagel! Never again! We will never step foot in there again!!

Cleanliness is paramount. My wife and I stopped here prior to a medical appointment. We each ordered a bagel and a smoothie- got the bagels quite quickly (tough not to do- they are in a basket, all that needs to be done is toast them and serve them)- and went to grab a seat. Every table up front had crumbs all over them. Now if there were only one employee, I could overlook that. That wasn’t the case- there were 3 employees I could see- how hard is it to wipe off a darn table?It took quite a while to get our smoothies, and then they got my order wrong. I had to wait again while they got it right, and please.. I waited for this? It literally tasted like a glass of ice water with a slight hint of banana and orange flavoring added. I tend to agree with the other reviewers here- if they can’t keep the place clean and do better with the smoothie, I predict this place will die soon. I would think folks who live near Long Point Rd. would expect better.
Bad, Dirty and were out of most Bagels. Aren’t they a Bagel shop.. Close it down so a real Bagel place and step it up. So dirty inside I was discusted and did not order anything. Waited for my kids to finish their odd flavored bagels and left. Never ever to return..
I had an awful experience here and would choose somewhere else next time.
