It took awhile to be seated and that is unusual. Assuming they were under staffed. The atmosphere is casual but nice. They have a nice sized bar which you can have cocktails as well as a meal. I started with the she crab soup with chili oil and creme fraiche. Full of lump crab and very flavorful. I expected a hint of heat from the chili oil but it just made the soup a tad greasy. Id order it again but minus the oil. I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad for my main. The chicken was slightly smoky and as tender as cold chicken breast can be. The dressing was packed with flavor and I loved the plentiful shredded Parmesan cheese. charlestonchews.com
