I have eaten there in the past and the food is good, but if you go on a Saturday or Sunday….. Good luck. The waitstaff is nice but the kitchen is a wreck…. We sat down got our drinks and were informed by our waitress that the kitchen was closed to all new orders. Which I thought was odd. 20 minutes later they finally take our order and we wait another 25 minutes and end up having to leave because our food had still not been served. This was not just an isolated case, others were getting up and leaving as well. The manager was nice and didn’t charge us for any of our drinks but still that kitchen has to get their act together.

Eggs Up is What’s Up. Amazing experience and a great staff. The waitress makes you feel at home as if it was a mom and pop breakfast where everyone knows your name! Love that feeling. Great space for large gatherings as well and the owner made a point to make sure we were happy with our breakfast. A must go!!!!

The Best Omelets in town! The Club sandwich is good too. Very consistent quality. It’s hit and miss with other restaurants.

The service was pretty good, but the food was mediocre at best.

Thumbs Down for Eggs Up. I am a lover of breakfast and Eggs Benedict (as you can tell from SO MANY of my reviews) This is the first time I have left and Eggs Benny uneaten. The Canadian Bacon was not… more of a ham and didn’t taste very good, the hollandaise was bland to say the least. i did like the potatoes but that was it. If you go early in the morning, avoid sitting near the front facing 17, the sun blasts in and there are no shades!

So glad there is finally an eggs up close to Charleston. Best breakfast in town as far as I am concerned. Way better then your typical dinner. May cost a bit more but you pay for quality. If you like Denny’s the you will obviously eat anything… Try the house made syrup!
