Best Sushi in Charleston Period! Chef Sean Park puts out a delicious meal. He was a founding chef/first chef at the popular (and expensive) O-Ku Restaurant downtown and brings great quality Sushi to his restaurant now. The restaurant is next to a sometimes loud bar which interferes with the ambiance but the quality of the food overcomes this. Don’t waste your time with other sushi places in Charleston…
BEST SUSHI IN CHARLESTON
Loved it.. We had the bibimbap, chicken hibachi, pork belly roll, and duck confit roll. ALL DELICIOUS. We will be back!
Food is amazing here the only place you can eat real japanese food everything is fresh and great flavor i love this place
Love this place! I highly recommend the pork belly bun and the shrimp ramen miso broth is very good. Also the family who runs this restaurant seems really sweet. We will be back again!
We enjoyed it, the kids enjoyed it! Rare in Charleston for authentic Asian. Come to this amazing restaurant for great food. After working in NYC for a Japanese company and experiencing good Asian food, it is refreshing to find good Asian food in Mt Pleasant that is sorely lacking in authentic ethnic cuisine.
Try it!. When this place was mentioned as the place to take my visiting daughter for her favorite food (sushi) i thought I had heard wrong. A hole in the wall in and obscure strip mall. Just goes to show you, the food was very good. My daughter and husband were happy to be served a Japanese beer and I enjoyed the house sauvignon blanc while waiting for our food! The service is a bit off. There were 3 of us, and all 3 of us received our meals at different intervals (longish intervals even) – but we happily solved this by sharing! The extra special treat was the Pork and Kimchi roll. Crispy pork belly with mango slaw. You could not have blended Asian and southern in a better explosion. Not a fan of sushi, but I will be heading back for this dish!
