Wonderful place!. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Liberty Tap Room & Grill. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish! We are from Virginia so after coming down in January to visit, we completed all arrangements by email. They answered promptly and we arrived in May to have the dinner it was set up and ready to serve. Food was fabulous! Everyone who worked there was great! All of our guests loved the food, drinks and atmosphere. I wished we had one up here. Thank you to everyone who made the wedding eve of our son a stress free and fun evening!
Many many beers. Tons of beers ordered the caprease salad and its excellent, menu could be a lil more diverse but the beer selection is tits.
Local Yokel. We love this place! The food was fresh & prepared just right and the selections of home brew just excllent. We met the owner and what a hoot he is! We’ll be back!
Great food; reasonable prices. Ate there for lunch. Fantastic burger; great beer as usual. Fish and chips were a disappointment, as we missed the homemade tarter sauce. We have been coming here for 4 years and the food is terrific. Always consistent. We very disappointed, however, to find that their homemade tarter sauce had been discontinued in lieu of commercial tarter sauce. I would much rather pay a few dollars more and get their homemade tarter – it really compliments their fish and chips, which are top notch. Their burgers are the best. You can’t go wrong here. Please, however, bring back your tarter!
A great lunch. We had such a great lunch at Liberty. Greeted at the door by the manager (actually the operating partner) Mike… Our server, Olivia, was the best. She is definitely a salesperson, and not an order taker. She had great suggestions for food and beverage and was very personable. We will be sure to revisit the restaurant on our future visits to Charleston.
One of the better pub grills I have been to. expanded beer selection. you need to try their house beers. angus meatloaf sandwich with tomato cheese sauce was tasty. service was slow but who cares when you have beer
We went here for Happy Hour and had a great time. Great selection of beer and $5 appetizers.The bartenders all three were friendly and attentive. What surprised me was how friendly the other patrons were.We loved the pizza but the nachos were just OK.
