The food was mostly good but two of us got the wreckfish, which was delicious, yet $30 for a casual restaurant, and local fish, seemed a bit steep. Margaritas were good, but 2 sips and it was gone. Truffle fries, delicious. Burger, not so much – dried out and not very flavorful. I think our table tried most of the appetizers and really wouldn’t spend the money on those again. Since the restaurant is so close to our home we will try it again.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Charleston for a very reasonable price. I’ve been here numerous times and always been impressed. The oyster appetizer is delicious. The salmon is the best entree. The s’mores are awesome as well, I love the homemade graham crackers. Every item is really outstanding there. Each time I leave I can’t wait to go back. Really recommend!!!

Seating. The first time we went in to try it, we were asked if we had a reservation. When we stated that we didn’t we were told (at 6:00) that they could not accommodate us. We asked about the 7 open tables directly in our view and they stated they were for reservations only. The next time, we called around 5:00 on a Saturday to see if we could get a reservation. We were told that the first available was 8:00 but we could eat at the bar or community table. When we went there, the bar was crowded and all the tables in the outside area were empty. Once again, they told us that they were for reservations only. We ate ate the community table, which was uncomfortable and situated awkwardly. We both ordered a burger, which was really good. We were there for approximately 45 minutes. By time we left, the bar was crowded and noisy and people were waiting out front for a table. However, there were still the same 7 tables open in the outside alone. None of the tables were utilized the whole time we were there, but they were still making people wait and turning others away. It was crazy. The food and the atmosphere does not warrant itself as a place that you would think you needed a reservation for in the first place, but if they would rather loose customers and keep tables empty for over an hour (they need lessons on booking tables), then it would only be a matter of time before their doors are closed. It’s a shame, it could be a nice local eatery. They need to do away with the reservations thing.

Delicous food, great service. We heard a new restaurant had recently opened near us and we were anxious to try it. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly and prompt. Everything we ordered was delicious. When my husband’s salmon was not quite cooked enough, they were extremely gracious and immediately remedied the issue. The owner even brought it out himself with an apology, and then later gave us a free dessert (we chose the butterscotch cake which was great). We will definitely be back.
