Richard’s Bar and Grill is exactly what it says it is, a bar and grill. You can tell from the exterior it is not a five start restaurant. You get what you get. Richard’s is the last dive bar in Mt. Pleasant, owned and operated by a local, and they serve excellent bar food in a great dive bar. Being a native I have been a few times over the years, more in my younger days. The crowd may be a little rough and rowdy the later it gets, but that is par for the course. It’s a great place, with a lot of great stories. I highly recommend it for lunch, we have begun to order lunch weekly for our office in hopes to support this local treasure and the local owner.
