Good for cheap hibachi and that’s it
Great hibachi. In our opinion, the best Japanese for the price in this area. Between our family of five, we all gave Umi a thumbs up for the hibachi chicken, shrimp and steak with fried rice. Good portion size also.
Does not Accept Debit/Credit. WIll not let you use your debit/credit card if you do not purchase $10.00. A Merchant should never ask the consumer to spend more to use their card if they have agreed to accept Debit/Credit cards. Not some one I want to do business with.
We ordered hibachi for dinner. I was not impressed.
Umi’s Yea!!. My family loves the Chicken Bowls from Umi’s. I have three teenagers and it keeps them happy. The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is always very friendly. When you call for pick up, it is ready in under 15 minutes.
UMI IS GREAT!!!. UMI is great, especially if you live in Park West…it’s so close! I always order takeout from Umi and have never been disappointed. For a local Sushi restaurant you definitely won’t be let down. And they’re super friendly as well! Give UMI a try!!
AWESOME!. My boyfriend and I ate here tonight after moving away from the neighborhood about 6 months ago, and it was even more delicious than ever! We have not found Japanese this good anywhere else in Mount Pleasant. The Hibachi dinners are huge and so tasty!! The ladies who own the place are so friendly and remembered us from this summer. Highly recommended!
