Walking in, its definitely a sports bar themed, slightly gloomy, and a bit dingy space. They have indoor and outdoor space. Outside was covered by a plastic door and smoker friendly. Inside for me. I waited a bit to be seated although it was pretty empty. They have a wing bar but I didnt want any of the choices it had to offer. My server was polite. I ordered 6 lemon pepper wings and the Wild Chef Salad. The wings were probably the tiniest wings Ive ever encountered. The flavor was nice but at a wing restaurant, I expected better. The Wild Chef salad was humongous! I could only finish a quarter of it. Mixed greens topped with tomatoes, cheeses, cucumbers, boiled eggs, smoky chicken, ham and flavor packed grilled shrimp. It was very satisfying. I wouldnt order the wings again. But I would go back for that salad! charlestonchews.com

Unfortunate Downhill Slide. My husband and I recently ate here and we were really disappointed by how dry and tough the wings tasted. The salads we ate were also made up with wilted lettuce and overly soft tomatoes. When we mentioned how dry the wings were, the waitress brought out more sauce, then charged us extra for two half-filled containers of sauce! We have eaten in the North Charleston restaurant and we never were charged for more wing sauce. We have also eaten in this (Mt. Pleasant ) restaurant in the past and liked the wings and service. However, this was a very different restaurant from our experience a year ago. We will not return.

Pretty much sucked. Don’t bother with the weekend brunch. We waited forever for our food and it truly sucked when we got it. Small portions, the food was lousy and the price much too high. They are definitely not set up for this so it must just be a gimmick to get people in there….

Disappointed. Three out of four in my group were disappointed with their food. The music was so loud we couldn’t even carry on a conversation. Service was mediocre. Very unpleasant experience and a waste of an evening.

Great Wings. Wings were great. We suggest the Boss, Garlic and the Jalepeno-Cheese wings. The medium spicy wings are great, but I suggest ordering the Braveheart with EXTREME caution. VERY VERY hot, and we were in a pretty significant amount of pain next day. I do not blame Wild Wing Cafe at all, it is just not a good idea to try to eat something like that.

Dave’s Chicken in Friends.. is so f-bomb good! I have gotten many friends addicted to it as well. They also have the best blue cheese in town!!
