It’s simple – wings ? mediocre- nothing special, my order was to include celery, brought without – when I requested ? Charged another $1.50- wine glass empty, server never noticed- just very pitiful compared to the many great spots mt p and chucktown has to offer -I wouldn’t bother with this chain–
I’ve been to at least eight different wild wings and this one is by far my least favorite. I can’t put my finger on it but the wings are just not cooked the way the original wild wings does it. I’m sticking with wild wing on the peninsula from here on in.
Old Reliable. We moved to Charleston last month and Mom & Dad have been taking me to as many local restaurants as they can; probably averaging 6 times a week. Naturally I can’t go everywhere (curse you Scratch!)Today they went to Wind Wings again. Not because it’s the best chow we’ve had here, but because they know what to expect. This is a basic wings & beers joint that just hasn’t let us down. Today Dad got a wrap and choose the Red Dragon sauce, Mom got the chicken feathers. Everything must have been good ’cause there wasn’t anything for me when they got home.
Love their wings; however, hard to have a conversation with anyone at night – VERY loud atmosphere.
During Sunday brunch, they serve Biscuits & Gravy. It would be my wish that they make this available ALL week, All day!! The gravy has a little bit of a kick, and they give you enough to cover the biscuits. The biscuits are sometimes a little over cooked, but never burnt, and taste great. This is a simple dish that is perfect for brunch or an appetizer anytime of the day. (Hint, Hint)
