LOVED IT! My husbands family has been coming here for generations and it only gets better! Good food, friendly atmosphere and good down home southern hospitality that only added to the fresh, tasty made to order food … Great crab cakes and everything else! Highly recommend you try it
Among Best Seafood Restaurants. Lees is one of the best seafood restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. I’ve been visiting for over 50 years and Lees is always a high point of any trip. Service is always friendly and efficient and the seafood is fantastic.
Great Seafood. We have been eating at Lee’s for over 20 years. We visit the area frequently since we have a 2nd home in Surfside area . Lee’s is usually our first stop when we get there and think about eating seafood
BAD service! The hubby and I arrived on 10/5/13 at 6:32 pm, a large group had just left and there were only a few people left in the restaurant. We sat at our table for over 10 minutes, 2 different people told us that our waitress would be right with us and she never came! A couple that came in 10 minutes after us got their drink order while we sat and waited. Finally we got up and left! Piss poor customer service.
A bit over-rated. It was fine but for being featured in Southern Living, I was a little disappointed. Nothing stood out as being outstanding. To be fair, I did not try the lauded She-Crab soup.
Very disappointed at visiting this restaurant. While the service was impeccable, the seafood was bland and the oysters were subpar. I tried the scallops, peeled shrimp (which was best seafood item) the catch of the day as well as the crab soup (which was full of butter and had a chowder hint instead of my favored sherry finish). The dessert was good and this would be the only thing worth going back for. Unfortunately the restroom was dirty and the smell of the restaurant was that of days gone by.
Service was poor but food was still good. We had a party of 11 in which 7 were kids and the waitress still charged us 18 percent gratuity on both of the checks. We had glasses empty for a long time and had just two baskets of Hushpuppies without refills. Waitress didn’t tell us about the specials for the day so we felt like we missed out on what would have been a better dinner overall. Pretty pricey and has an old persons home kind of feel. Won’t visit again
