I was also informed they were going to accept credit cards within the week.Welcome Back Joe’s!
New owners. This little diner near the back-gate recently came under new ownership. I decided to stop by and check out what they changed. The menu was much smaller and the waitresses seemed to be doing the majority of the kitchen work/plating (which meant they were too busy for refills).The meat they served me was okay, though, so I did not have an issue with them. I thought it was an okay little place. Then I went to check out… No card machine they tell me! That’s a great thing to figure out after you have already eaten. Apparently there’s a time portal fixed to the door so that when you enter this establishment, you travel back to 70’s.But it was all okay because the big turd they had working the cash register was rude when I brought up my frustration, so I totally forgot about the sub-par service, the lackluster menu and the lack of a credit card machine.I pass it to and from work every day and love diners and diner food. I won’t be returning.
