We got there at 5:30 and sat right away, but when we left at 6:30 there was quite a wait. Food was delicious: lobster bites are lightly breaded and tasty. I had the flounder Cagney, which was cooked well and had great flavor. My husband had the filet topped with crab. The service was excellent. The restaurant is dark and has a Miami feel with 80s music. We really enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality of food. Make reservations.

Love, love, love this place! Been many times, the most recent on NYE with my husband. Arrived early, (before 5 pm) many tables available, and was seated at a small table for two on the mezzanine looking directly into the kitchen! While I enjoyed my delicious meal I also got to enjoy the servers wrapping silverware, eating, conversing and the cooks plating food. Flamingo should really reposition that table or omit it all together!!!
Great place!. While my crab cakes were not that good, everything else was excellent. I would highly recommend the she-crab soup. My husband’s dirty martini was the best he has ever tasted. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff terrific. Might have just been a bad night for the crab.
Did not get food while waiting an hour. No management came, even when I asked!Awful! Biggest bust in Myrtle Beach. If you wanna wait over an hour for your food, even when it’s not busy, and pay way too much for even kids meals! ($10) Then this is the place for you.
This is our first time at the Flamingo Grill. The decor is a mix of vintage Hollywood and fish, with a couple of Harley Davidson motorcycles to round it out. There’s a section of booths and a raised section of tables as well as the bar. My wife and I both had the Delmonico steak grilled medium. It was flavorful and was so tender it was almost like cutting butter. The waitress was very attentive and the owner also stopped by each table to ask how everything was. The price is about the norm for the area. The only drawback was the acoustics, it was pretty loud with a restaurant of full tables all talking at the same time.
