I keep trying to like this restaurant but they just won’t let me. Between their snooty attitude, lousy beer and food that I not only can but have made better myself, I don’t know which is worse. The only thing worth eating is the garlic fries. If you get the turkey burger, take it apart and douse the burger with ketchup to make it taste like my worst meatloaf. Eat the rest as a salad. You’ll enjoy it more!
Excellent Service! !. It was my 1st time trying Gordon Biersch and it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants now!! The food is top notch (i had the gorgonzola chicken for my entree, chile wings for my appetizer, and bread pudding for my dessert). And our server was very courteous and attentive to any needs we had. You can’t leave the city without trying Gordon Biersch!

The previous German menu is long gone. The authentic beers remain first rate, but the menu has lost all traces of schnitzel, wurst, kraut, or beets. May have had a slice of rye bread in the haus. The food choices are the standard American burger and quesadilla pub fare and taste OK, but why bother?
Food is good, BUT….. Food was good but we asked if they sold their beer glasses and guy said yes and said he would bring us back a clean one because we were just going to take the one we were using… He brought it back wrapped up and when we got home we opened it up yo find he gave us just a plain glass with no name on it. Very disappointing.
Had lunch on Friday May 22, 2014.Food was fantastic waitress incredibly friendly and really enjoyed our experience.
