Overpriced for the quality and the kitchen is very slow preparing the food so plan to spend a couple of hours. The restaurant has nice ambiance and good Italian food including Blue Cheese dressing and Lasagna, but there was a lot of pasta and limited meat. For example, when adding shrimp to a dish, they added 3 cold, dry shrimp on top. I would rather have paid a little more to have a truly ‘Shrimp dish’! The Chicken Marsala was a small portion compared to most Italian restaurants. The entry price is higher than originally indicated, then there are a lot of up charges including vegetables, Caesar salad, etc.
If you are looking for a long dining experience to fill an empty evening, this restaurant may be a good option. The restaurant had good food but a tiny kitchen that is not equipped to handle the seating. Even with empty tables it took over two hours – with over 55 minutes between salad and entree. We expected to have a nice, relaxing evening and were not in a rush but waiting almost an hour for the entree was not enjoyable. Our waitress communicated (one time) that our entrees would be delayed due to a large party but implied this was a normal occurrence – nothing that deserved any special attention or acknowledgement. She did not volunteer to have the manager talk to us or volunteer to bring us anything else. They just refilled our drinks and let us sit for an hour.
Plan to spend the evening waiting on your food especially if you have a large party!! Despite the food being good, we won’t go back as I never want to be embarrassed by recommending a restaurant that took so long and was SO RUDE to our out of state guests!! Lombardos should find some southern hospitality. We had family visiting from out of state so we were excited to try a new restaurant based upon the reviews. On the good side, our table was ready at the time of our reservation, the food was good and the wait staff was attentive. The negative is that it took over 90 minutes to get our food while other tables were served. The waitress told us the delay was due ‘to another big party in the next room’. It seemed odd that the restaurant had empty tables but could not prepare our food in under an hour. We asked to talk to the manager after waiting 90 minutes, he said they prioritized the smaller tables and said all we could do was apologize. He offered no other explanation or assurance that it would be different if we visited again since there was no specific reason that caused the delay. He didn’t offer any discount, dessert or even a positive comment. We asked if there was anyone else we could speak to as the reviews had commented about the owner visiting tables so we were surprised by the manager’s lack of concern or surprise at the delay. The next person who came to the table said he was responsible for the line in the kitchen. He was extremely rude to us since he said he saw that I was planning to write a review.
Lombardos is the best seafood and Italian in myrtle. 10/10 in my book.

Foodies 8/8/2014. Save your money,the chef was confuses when he prepared both my wife and my selection of dinners from the menu. Ordered veal picatta and received francaise. We do not recommend.
Great alternative to ubiquitous seafood captain buffet. Not a fish restaurant, but a great Italian restaurant with several fresh seafood items. Prices are very reasonable. Kitchen uses lots of garlic; this is a good thing.
